We know that telling a great story takes more than beautiful shots, but connecting with an audience. We are fueled by crafting quality work, inspiring others and leaving a legacy that we’re proud of.
FOUNDER / DIRECTOR
Andy founded Indie Atlantic Films in 2006 and has a passion for cinematic storytelling. Andy has directed and produced national commercials, a TV segment on Fox and multiple branded films for regional and national clients. As well, he directed SHED, a short film accepted into the Nashville and Sarasota Film Festival among others. He was an Executive Producer for the documentary Fly Like a Girl, a film that debuted in early 2019. Andy is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach and is a member of AdFed and an AdFed Silver Medal recipient. Andy is currently a member of Film Florida. Beyond film, Andy and his wife Ashley co-own Concord Coffee. What’s better than coffee and film?
Matt’s background is in traditional broadcast television. He has worked on national TV series for ABC, PBS, Travel, Disney, and other networks. At Indie Atlantic Films, Matt has produced, edited, and directed films for clients across the United States. He is also one of the Executive Producers of the feature-length documentary, Fly Like a Girl. He’s a graduate of Flagler College and a member of the Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Blake has always had a high regard for aesthetics. From fine art and film to branding and web design, Blake just has an eye for what looks good. After getting a degree in design and photography, he jumped into the agency world and worked with brands like LinkedIn, Exxon Mobil, Chik-fil-A, Cracker Barrel and Lifeway. He’s won numerous awards for design and cinematography. Whether he’s working on a documentary, short film, commercial, or taking photos of his kids, his goal is to capture life with his signature cinematic style.
PRODUCER / Director
Katie first explored film production as a student at the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, FL. At Dreyfoos, not only did she learn to edit on one of the first non-linear editing systems, but she also learned the fundamentals of cinematic storytelling. As part of the Indie Atlantic team, Katie has produced, edited, and directed films. Katie made her feature-length directorial debut with the documentary Fly Like a Girl. Wiatt is a member of Women in Film & Television-Florida and is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University.
As part of the Indie Atlantic team, Ashley has produced and edited films for a variety of commercial and nonprofit clients. With an eye for detail and a dedication to quality, she is a valuable part of the Indie Atlantic team. Ashley was also part of the research and camera team who worked on the feature-length documentary, Fly Like a Girl. She also has a passion for photography and has been published in various national publications and websites. Ashley is a graduate of Florida Southern College where she majored in Broadcast, Print Journalism, and Online Media.
